Living Tree - Made as a PSA, this 30 second spot uses images from Longboy s performances to create a piercing representation of AIDS awareness. Small brown pill bottles with words printed on them like HIV, condoms, responsibility, you, me, safe sex , hang from a large tree and swing gently in the wind. Around the base of the tree Stoney Nation dancers and a drummer move in a sacred circle. Intercut with these images are close ups of people tied to the tree. The effect of this precise and elegantly constructed tape is unforgettable.
