Bodies Of Fate

BODIES OF FATE uses the metaphor of Prairie Wheat: growing, being harvested, being turned into bread (a life-giving, positive substance), or alcohol (a potentially destructive substance), to examine a personal situation of the artist in relation to fate and will. The wheat, without will, fulfills its destiny, carrying the message that much of our lives are at the mercy of circumstance. The overlaid audio text by a psychologist suggests that, within that framework, choice is possible and necessary. Operatic voices add an emotional element as they express human reactions.
