Made after an international telecommunications event in the early 1980s in which artists exchanged video, music and photocopies by phone, this tape examines the problem of communications and translation from one cultural context to another. In the Western Front tradition of thinking globally, it advocates exchanges involving artists of North America, Africa, Asia and South America. The text is in French, German, Italian, English and Pigmy Adlib.
