Marriage Of Yasushi

Utilising an interior monitor revealing aspects of the family past, the producer explores the guilt-power relationship between Yasushi and his mother. Within each scene, a monitor reveals the abuse and negligences of the past, and moments of warmth and nurturing between the mother and her son. In the action outside the monitor, she appears to be exacting revenge on both Yasushi and his young wife, by her controlling and manipulative influences.
