The two video artist chose to make a statement on the psyche of Osaka, as manifested in three pieces of contemporary architorture: Tsutenkaku Tower, Expo Tower, PL Peace Tower. Each of these objects represents a unique aspect of the Naniwa people in 1984. Trutenkaku is the tarnished dream of a ÒNew World , surrounded by pachinko parlors and sleazy eateries; Expo Tower in the cold stream of robot futures; PL Peace Tower is the profoundly odd expression of a new charismatic religion, a mystery of spiritual hunger.
